Chris and Rachel’s Friday the 13th wedding at The Ivory Barn was just what they dreamed of! It perfectly captured their vibe and the essence of a Friday the 13th celebration. Their pallet of jewel tones and blacks, along with classy signage and gold accents, made the night pop. They nailed so many cool wedding trends that I bet we’ll see a lot more of in 2024: think disco ball accents, a champagne tower, and my personal fave, a vintage car exit!
The Ivory Barn is one of my favorite new Charlotte wedding venues! Tucked away along the serene shores of Lake Norman, it offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and seclusion for couples seeking an intimate setting. Surrounded by a breathtaking treeline, the expansive property boasts multiple buildings for couples to explore and utilize. Beyond its picturesque outdoor spaces, The Ivory Barn’s meticulously crafted structures impress. From spacious and charming suites for both the bride and groom to the reception area with its soaring ceilings and expansive windows, every detail is designed to enchant. The seamless flow from indoors to outdoors, accentuated by the glow of string lights over the patio, adds to the venue’s allure. Guests are led from the reception area through large windows and doors to the ceremony space, where abundant natural light and open-air vibes create a truly magical atmosphere.
