Who would have thought that the platform we all started using to find affordable and one-of-a-kind stays would end up becoming a go-to for weddings too? They’re all about disrupting the norm and doing things differently, which makes them the perfect match for non-traditional weddings and elopements. The best part is that Airbnb properties offer so much more than just a place to crash for the night. They can serve as an awesome ceremony site, reception spot, and even a cozy space to get ready together. Whatever you need for your big day, there’s an Airbnb out there that will fit your vibe perfectly. And because I’m all about sharing the love, I’ve rounded up my absolute favorite Airbnbs that have everything you need for your PNW Elopement day. Whether you’re looking for a ceremony site on the shores of Lake Crescent, a reception venue along the Olympic Coastline, or a spot to get ready before you hike into the Hoh Rainforest to exchange your vows. Here are 10 of the best Airbnb’s for your Washington Airbnb elopement or wedding.
It’s crucial that you reach out to the owners of the Airbnb you’re considering for your elopement and ask for their permission to hold your celebration or ceremony there. Some listings may explicitly state that events and parties are not allowed, but the owners may be open to it if you ask them directly and provide details about your event.
It’s important to respect the owners’ wishes and adhere to any rules or restrictions they may have in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration. By doing so, you can avoid crossing any boundaries and potentially getting into trouble. So always make sure to communicate with the owners and get their permission before proceeding with your Airbnb elopement.
If you’ve ever seen photos from a Washington A-Frame Airbnb elopement, chances are you might have been looking at The Cozy River Cabin. The rustic A-Frame, situated in Packwood, WA, is situated just a few minutes away from the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park, making it an ideal spot for PNW elopements. The cabin’s A-Frame architectural style is highly sought-after and adds a cozy, intimate atmosphere to any wedding ceremony. The breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the nearby river make The Cozy River Cabin an iconic destination for couples looking to have a memorable and picturesque elopement in the PNW.
If you’re seeking a serene and spacious Airbnb elopement venue where you can host your ceremony, reception, and portraits all in one location, this may be an ideal option for you. If your heart is set on eloping in a natural setting and you are just on the hunt for a spot for your getting ready photos or reception, it’s worth noting that Leavenworth is only an hour’s drive away and offers many locations where you can immerse yourself in nature. Can you imagine the imagery documenting you two getting ready together for your elopement in this spot?? A literal DREAM come true!
The Little Owl Cabin is another iconic Mt. Rainier Airbnb Elopement choice. With its short distance to the park, this spot is super popular for those eloping on the Paradise side of Mt. Rainier National Park. My personal favorite detail of this A-frame has to be the cedar hot tub attached to the deck of the property. How cute would it be to return to Little Owl after your elopement at Mt. Rainier and end the night by sharing drinks (or pizza-its your day and your way) in the cedar tub?
This cabin is like the epitome of the PNW vibes – with lush ferns, towering evergreens, and the national forest just chilling in your backyard! It’s the ultimate spot for a super fun and laid-back Washington Airbnb elopement. Nestled in Deming, WA, you’ll be close to some of the most popular elopement destinations like Mt. Baker and Artist Point. Like the Little Owl cabin mentioned above, it also has a soaking tub surrounded by the ferns. It has also been painted black since the photo below was taken- so it embraces that moody vibe PNW Elopements are known for even more.
The Treeframe cabin adds a unique twist to many of the typical A-frames seen across Washington- its an actual treehouse! This one-of-a-kind cabin is securely anchored into the very Evergreen trees that make Washington famous. Imagine sharing a first look amidst the treetops, with the lush greenery and serene surroundings as your backdrop!!!
This one-of-a-kind A-frame is located just minutes from some of the most stunning spots in the central cascades. The surrounding forest and twinkle lights that adorn the cabin make for a truly magical atmosphere.
Highlights of this cabin include in the natural light, large deck, and its proximity to Mt. Rainier National Park. The large deck could be the perfect first look location if you’re planning on eloping in the national park!
The SkyCabin, sister to the TyeHaus cabin, boasts floor to ceiling windows and is surrounded by Evergreen trees. Some of its amenities include a fireplace, patio, and tons of natural light. It is just around the corner from some beautiful trailheads that could be the perfect for an elopement ceremony!
If you’re looking for an option close to Seattle, this Chalet might be for you. Nestled in the heart of West Seattle, this mid-century modern gem offers the perfect blend of city and nature. Whether you’re tying the knot near Snoqualmie Pass, at the downtown courthouse, or in Discovery Park, this chalet is one of my top picks for its central location and natural light.
I think I saved the best for last because WOW! This converted shipping container Airbnb is not only one of the most unique spots on the list but also one of the most beautiful. Surrounded by a lush forest of mosses, ferns, and evergreens, this moody cabin is a standout in so many ways. But my absolute favorite feature has to be the glass fire pit area in the back. It could be utilized as a cozy reception area, a getting-ready spot, or a place to unwind together after your elopement day is over.
Honestly, narrowing down the locations of your elopement day might be the hardest part. When you have so many unique and stunning options, deciding can feel impossible!
