Thunder Hill Proposal | Karli + Will

Snow had just hit the mountains of Boone, making location choices limited.We decided to start out at nearby Raven Rocks overlook and onto Thunder hill for the end of our session.

We were absolutely freezing in the wind of the Parkway, but you wouldn’t be able to tell when looking at the sunshine and their smiles.

When Karli and I scheduled her and Will’s maternity session- I had no idea it would turn into this! Will reached out to me a few days before the session, telling me he wanted to propose to Karli at the end. Of course I was ecstatic, so we set a plan in motion. The plan was that for their last prompt- I would have them stand back to back. Then I told them “walk away from each other as I count to three. When I say 3- turn around and tell your partner something you love about them. What Karli didn’t know, is that when she turned around- Will would be down on one knee.
